T-R-O-U-B-L-E

2 weeks ago Emma was not crawling, she was attempting to but not really making any progress in that direction. She mostly just loved to sit up and clap her hands and she loved when I would let her stand up to the ottoman.




On Saturday, Aug 6th, something clicked for Emma and she was crawling! Nothing really fast but she was definetly moving. Ever since she has started crawling I feel like everything has just started comeing more and more to her. She has figured out how to go from crawling to a sitting up position which I personally think is so cute to watch. She just slides her legs under her and pushes herself up.



On Monday I went to lay her down for an attempt at one last nap (we're in the process of going from 3 naps to 2 naps) and heard her making some noises so I asked Kyle to go and check on her and than I heard him talking to her and he called me in and low and behold she can now pull herself up in her crib. The smile she gave me when I walked in was totally priceless. "Look at me Mom! I'm big stuff!" Time to move the crib down I guess.



After discovering that she can pull herself up in her crib she figured out how to pull herself up with the ottoman and stand and play with all the toys inside of it. It keeps her entertained for at least 20 or so minutes.




So I guess we are in big time TROUBLE with this little girl of ours. In 2 weeks time the changes she has gone through are phenomenal! She is getting big so fast! I can't believe she is already 8 months old.
