Dying Easter Eggs

Saturday evening while the men went to the Priesthood session of conference we thought it would be fun to dye easter eggs with the kids. 4 adults vs 8 kids.  The kids really enjoyed it and the Moms all broke a sweat trying to get everything everybody needed while making sure the littlest ones didn't drink the dye.  I'm pretty sure Bode got a couple of sips in while I wasn't looking.  It was pure craziness but also extremely fun!

Herriman Egg Hunt

Saturday morning we got up and went to the Herriman Egg Hunt.  They divide each section up into age groups so I went with Corbin.  He's a veteran and knows to just grab as much as you can so he of course ended up with a very full bucket.  Emma went for the things she wanted and then was done and Bode was just excited to get some suckers.  We then waited in line to ride the train and then headed home for conference.

Easter Sunday Dress

The kids wore their Easter clothes the Sunday before since Easter was over conference weekend. At some point while taking pictures at least 1 child was in tears.  Pictures don't always quite go as I hope or planned but oh well.

Mommy/Daughter Date-Cinderella Movie

Last month a new Cinderella movie came out so a bunch of the moms decided it would be fun to take all of our girls to go and see it.  Emma loves when she gets to go out on dates with either parent.  She just loves having her time with us.  She got all dressed up in her Cinderella dress and we got treats and popcorn.  I absolutely loved the movie!  I love what her Mom tells her, "Have courage and be kind."  I just hope that that is something Emma strives for.  To always have courage and be kind to everyone.  Emma loved going out with me but she loved even more that all of her friends came to the movie with us!

Bear Lake Overnighter

In March we were able to go away for an overnighter up to Bear Lake with some our friends from our neighborhood.  It was fun evening filled with yummy dinner, fun games and a lot of talking.  The more time I spend with the people the more I just really love how lucky we are to be in such an amazing neighborhood that is filled with great people.
