Emma's first lost tooth

While we were at Bear Lake Emma lost her very first tooth! She put it in a baggie to put under her pillow that night. That afternoon she went looking for it and couldn't find it. I had realized that there was a good chance that I had thrown it away.  Emma was devastated and I had the worst Mommy guilt ever!  That night we wrote a note to the tooth fairy hoping that she would still leave money for her even though her tooth wasn't there anymore.  Luckily the tooth fairy still came.  Come to find out on Saturday while I was cleaning up and packing up the tooth was right where I had told Emma to put it to keep it safe!  So I didn't throw it away after all!

Bear Lake Week 2

We were able to go to our 2nd week of Bear Lake the end of August.  It was a tad bit different this time around because the week we got was everyone's first week of school so not everybody could come the whole time or come at all.   The beginning of the week was just my family minus Kyle and Cam and Torie's family.  Kyle and Heidi's family were able to join us on Wednesday.  Because I checked my kids out of school Corbin learned the harsh reality of missing a whole week of school and battled me on doing homework one day.  I could not stop laughing at him and that seemed to only make it worse.  The kids loved knee boarding, wake boarding and Corbin was even successful in getting up to wake surf.  Lots of boat rides and tubing was done as well.

Tessa & the Bumbo

Tessa is big enough to sit in the Bumbo.  It's crazy to think she's big enough now when I still feel like she's so little.   Normally she will last 5-10 minutes in it before she's had enough.  She also has a toy that she really likes.  The kids call it buzz buzz and when she cries they all go searching for it to make her happy.

Lagoon 2016

We had the chance to take our kids to Lagoon with my family.  This is easily becoming one of our all time favorite things we do altogether.  For the most part my kids rocked the rides.  Emma especially! She started her day off with Cannibal and ended her day with Samaurai and Cannibal again.  I could not believe how brave she was!  Bode wasn't so thrilled with most of the rides and cried on the majority of them.  He did love the boats and the car rides.  At the end he finally realized how fun some of the rides were and was so sad when we left and he has asked when are we going back to the rides every day since.  Corbin was a champ and pretty much rode anything and everything and Tessa got her first rides on the Carousel and on the Train.  Family time is seriously the best ever!
