Santa's Reindeer

After meeting with Santa we went to Thanksgiving Point and saw his reindeer there.  Emma was really nervous that reindeer were going to hit her with their antlers but she eventually warmed up.  While we were there we also found out that Queen Elsa was going to be visiting there in just a little bit so we ended up hanging out there until Elsa showed up.

Meeting Santa

We went and saw Santa this week. I was really nervous about going so late in the month and having to wait in a huge line but we picked the most perfect day and time to go.  We went to the outlet malls by us around 5 and there was nobody around.  The kids got a lot of one on one time with Santa and they even wrote him a letter which they said if we put it in his mailbox he will write them back.  Bode screamed through the whole picture but once we were done with pictures and Kyle was holding him again he did give Santa a few high fives and knuckles and got his candy cane.  Emma was pretty nervous until she got up to Santa and then she sat on his lap and told him that she wanted an Elsa Barbie doll.  Corbin of course knew what was going on so he jumped right up there and sat down and told Santa that he really wants a skateboard.

Bode and the Magna-Tiles

Bode has discovered the magna-tiles and he loves them.  He sat and played with them this one day for half an hour.  Every time it would crash he would laugh and then start over.  I was really impressed with how tall he could get the one side.

Emma's Princess Party

Emma's birthday was this last Saturday.  She has been on countdown till her birthday since Corbin's birthday was over back in June.  I do feel bad that everybody else's birthday is during the months of May and June and she's the only one that isn't and so she has to wait a long time but hopefully I made up for that this year.  We decided on doing a princess party and involve all of the Princess's.  Kyle designed and made the invitations for it.  She told me the whole week before that she wanted to be Elsa but we didn't have an Elsa dress so that morning she was asking me if I had bought one yet and I told her that I hadn't had a chance and it made her cry which made me feel awful so we had her open 1 present that morning and she was so excited to see that she finally had her very Elsa dress. For the party we had Repunzel's crown sandwiches, Cinderella's cheese bites, Snow White's apples,  Ariel's goldfish, Elsa and Anna's Snowballs and Aurora's Pink Sparkles drink.  We also played Princess Tiana's Kiss the Frog game, we decorated Belle's crowns and we played Jasmine's magic carpet ride.  During the party while we were getting ready to play Jasmine's magic carpet ride Kyle turned on Let it Go and all of the girls jumped right in and started singing and the top of their lungs.  It was so adorable.

After all of the party fun we went to dinner, Emma's choice, to Chick fil a and then came back and all of Emma's grandparents came over for cake and ice cream and presents.
