Kearns Light Show

We found out about this new light show in Kearns and thought it would be fun to go and check it out. Best light show ever!! It took us almost a half hour to get through the whole thing and we could stay in the car for all of it!

Christmas Pajamas

This year, kind of at the last minute we decided to change one of our traditions of giving our kids Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve.  We were going to go see a new light show and thought it would be fun to give our kids their pajamas to go and watch them in.  They were so excited to get them and even more excited that they all matched!  They have even asked if next year they can get them early again.

First Snow

On Monday we got our first real official snow fall. It snowed almost 6 inches during the night and then continued to snow for the next 2 days. My kids have been in heaven and have been loving playing in the snow everyday!

Emma's 5th Birthday!

Emma's 5th birthday was over the weekend!  With her birthday being on a Sunday we did a lot of the celebrating on Saturday.  We took her to build a bear where she built a Elsa bear that she had been begging for.  I also took her and a friend to go and get their nails done.  We didn't do a birthday party this year so this went in its place.  She loved getting a pedicure and kept telling me how nice everything felt!  On Sunday we had the grandparents come over for some cake and ice cream and a few more presents.  We are so happy that Emma is a part of our family.  She is so sweet, sassy, confident, kind, loving, outgoing and just all around a beautiful girl both inside and out!  Happy Birthday EMMA!

Gender Reveal

This baby we decided to find out what we were having mostly because we're going to get the 2 bedrooms done downstairs so I'd love to be able to get rid of things that we no longer need and I also felt like if it ended up being a boy Emma was going to need some time to come to terms with it because she so desperately wanted a baby sister.  The kids decided they wanted to do a little party and find out a fun way so after my ultrasound I gave our envelope that they had put the gender in, to my friend and she took it and got black balloons filled up with colored confetti of what it would be.  The kids were so excited to pop them and we are beyond excited to say that it is a GIRL!!!  Emma is so giddy with excitement!

Santa Claus

While at Temple Square we managed to squeeze in a visit to see Santa Claus mostly because there was absolutely no wait to see him! Bode had his normal reaction and Emma was slightly nervous but warmed up really fast!

Temple Square Christmas Lights

Another favorite tradition that I love is going to see the Christmas lights on Temple Square.  It ended up raining on us but we still enjoyed walking around with family.

BYU vs UTAH

Kyle was able to get tickets to the BYU vs UTAH basketball game from work so we thought it would be fun to take our family and go. This was Corbin's first time going to an away game of sorts and he was very anxious and nervous during most of the game because of the really loud Utah fans around us and kept saying that he wished that we were sitting with BYU fans.  Emma spent most of the night worried about one of the mascots coming up to see us and Bode just wanted to go back out and ride the train that we had rode up to the venue. Popcorn of course made everything better and we were able to watch BYU get slaughtered which was very disappointing but it was fun to be together as a family.
