Things I've loved lately...

*Listening to my kids dance and sing and laugh together.
*Watching my kids play the piano.
*Having conversations with Corbin:
*"Mom my leg hurts, I think it's hungry."
*Watching Corbin stand up and recite the 2nd article of faith all by himself in Primary.
*Listening to Emma try and repeat words after us. She now knows what the cat, dog, monkey, and lion says. She also can say Hi, up, apple, please, Mom, and Dad.
*Watching my kids play together.
*Listening to both Corbin AND Emma pretend to be Cosmo the Cougar. When you ask Emma what Cosmo says she will growl at you!
*Listening to Corbin sing his primary songs that he is learning.
*Reading the same book 10 times a day to Emma.
*Taking my kids to the park and watching them play.
*Being a Mom to the 2 cutest kids!

Easter Decorations

Thanks to Pinterest and some good friends I made some new Easter decorations and I love them! They were super easy to make and it was so much fun to have a craft night with some of the girls.

Beus Park

We have a park just up the street from us called Beus Park that has a playground plus a duck pond to walk around that we absolutely love going to. My kids would go there everyday if I let them. Our friends, Julie, Collin & Josh joined us one day and the kids had a blast. It's fun just to let the kids play and than go and walk around the pond where the ducks come almost right up to you.

Our Monthly Date #2

This is a few weeks late, but better late then never right? For our date in February we got a new wii game, Mario Kart, and played it for the night. We used to play wii together all the time before we had kids and we always enjoyed doing it. We haven't really had a lot of time/made time to play it so it was fun to be able to have some friendly competition for a night.

*Once again, I didn't do a very good job about taking pictures. March's date I will hopefully do better.

St. Patrick's Day

Our St. Patrick's Day started out with us waking up to a destroyed house. A sneaky, mischievous little Leprechaun visited us and made quite a few messes. He dumped all the books out, colored our toilet water green, made all the pictures crooked, turned our ottoman upside down, riped the cushions off the couches, and turned our milk green just to name a few. He also left little green footprints behind and some of his most treasured gold. Everywhere a mess was left he put some of his gold with it. On our table he left his very most treasured gold, a box of his cereal, Lucky Charms. Corbin was a little distraught at first about the messes but after he discovered that a little "aprioct" (that's what he kept calling the leprechaun all day) he thought it was so funny that a little man would do all of that.

Warm Days

Since 9 o'clock this morning my kids have been begging to go outside and play. Once they were dressed and ready for the day they were out playing. So excited for these warm days that here and can't wait for more to come.

*Emma is obviously ready to go outside!

Corbin has also figured out how to pump and has been loving being able to swing all by himself.

Love this Girl!

Writing

Corbin has been drawing and writing like crazy these last few weeks. He loves to just sit at our table and draw pictures and write letters or try and write out words. Just recently he has figured out how to write his name. I found him this morning on our back porch practicing his letter A and trying to write "Hello" like our mat says. We are so proud of him and all that he is learning!

*In this picture are papers that he wrote his name on. This was the first time that neiter Kyle or I had sat down with him and helped him.

Spring is Coming!

We have had a couple of really nice days that just get you itching to get out of the house so I took the kids to one of our favorite parks. It has a duck pond that we love to go and walk around. Unfortuantely the ground was pretty wet so the kids got a little muddy, but that didn't bother them at all. We can't wait for more warm days!

*My attmept at getting a picture of the 2 of them:
