Tessa- 7 Months Old

Tessa is 7 months old. Time is going too fast and before I know it she is going to be one! She is starting to really get this crawling thing down which I'm not thrilled about. I tried pushing her down and stopping her but she didn't want it.  She's got to keep up with her big brother Bode.  Her sleeping is getting a little better.  She is back to sleeping till 3 or 4 then will eat and go back to bed.  I'm slowly trying to break her of that but sometimes it's the only peace and quiet her and I get so I'm just soaking up the cuddles and quiet time with my baby.

Turkey Trot Tournament

In November we headed down south to St. George for the Turkey Trot Tournament.  We are with a new team this year and we were excited to see how we did.  We won our first 2 games on Friday and then Saturday we ended up losing both of our games but our new little team played hard.  It was nice to getaway as a family, even if it was because of a baseball tournament.  We get so caught up in day to day activities that getting away as a family and spending some time together is just what we need!

November 3rd

We've had very unusually warm weather this November already and my kids are trying to soak in every bit of sunshine they can before it gets too cold.

Pinewood Derby

Corbin got to participate in his very first Pinewood Derby.  He did really well and made into the finals but got beat out.  He had so much designing his car and painting it with his Dad.

Halloween 2016

Halloween was so fun this year! We had a busy day running around and doing various activities and then we had chili dinner with neighbors before the kids hit the ground running to go trick or treating. Bode and Emma lasted about an hour and half and Corbin and his friends were gone for almost 3 hours. This year we had a werewolf, Elsa from Frozen Fever, a Newsies boy and a cute little lady bug!

School Halloween Parade

Halloween morning the kids had their school Halloween parade.  This was the first year that Kyle was able to come with us.  Emma came by and was beyond excited to see us.  Corbin on the other hand walked past and would barely make eye contact with us so I had to try and snap pictures as he walked down the other aisles.  The little stinker.

Donut Party

We were able to go to Kyle's Aunt Vicky's annual donut party.  The kids didn't really want to wear their costumes they had picked out for Halloween so they threw a couple of costumes together.  Corbin went as Stephen Curry, Emma was a ballerina and Bode still wanted to be a Newsies.

Carving Pumpkins

Sunday evening before Halloween, after church, we carved pumpkins.  The kids were told this year that they are going to be very simple carvings cause we didn't have a ton of time.  I loved how each of them turned out.  Tessa didn't carve one this year but she enjoyed licking her pumpkin and trying to play in the guts when we were finishing up.
