Nothing New

We haven't done much these last few weeks mostly because the weather can't quite make up its mind. It's warm and then its freezing cold but I have been practicing more with my new SLR camera and to say I'm in love is an understatement.  I'm having so much fun trying different modes and figuring out which light works best.  Here are some photos I took the other day.  Yes, they are mostly ALL of Bode mostly because he was the only one around when I started playing with the camera plus he actually loves to get his picture taken right now and is pretty much the cutest baby I know! (I know I'm biased.)

St. Patricks Day

We had a pretty quiet St. Patricks Day this year.  The leprechaun left us his lucky cereal and dyed our milk green but other than that it was like any other day except the fact that we all wore green.

9 Months

Bode has turned 9 months! I still can't believe that he is that old. He just still seems so little to me.  But compared to his sister Emma he is small.  I'm interested to see how much he weighs and how tall he is when we go in for his check up this month. He is sleeping so much better now and is on a pretty good schedule.  He's teething which is no fun.   He is eating pretty much anything and everything I give him.  The other day I was making grilled cheese for the kids and I went to feed him his "food" and he screamed and did NOT want any of it.  As he continued to cry I finished making the kids sandwiches.  After I was done I tried giving him some and he cheered right up and ate almost half of a sandwich.  He really likes whatever we are eating so I just end up chopping whatever we are eating up.  I wanted to take his pictures of 9 months but as I started taking pictures he was not happy about getting his pictures taken but as soon as Kyle came into help me he cheered right up.   We love this little guy and love having him in our family.

Corbin the Cowboy

*For the record he got himself all ready while I was taking pictures of Bode.  He asked if I would take pictures of him and then he posed himself for every picture. I personally think that he is one good looking cowboy!

Kids Museum Preview

On Saturday we were able to take our kids to the new museum that they have built at Thanksgiving Point. Okland built it and they were having a preview day for all the employees and their families who helped work on the project.  This museum is really cool and we are excited for it to open officially.

Spaghetti

Bode had his first "official" spaghetti dinner. He's tried spaghetti before now but before I just chopped it up really small. He was really unsure of the whole thing and didn't seem too thrilled about any of it. By the time I took pictures he was completely done and most of the noodle mess was done by his big brother Corbin trying to be funny which made him even more mad.
