Christmas Weekend

Once again we had a wonderful Christmas filled with family fun and lots of yummy food. We are so blessed to have such wonderful families!

Christmas Eve we spent with the Liljenquists. It started with dinner and than the kids did the nativity. Corbin played a shepard and Emma was the angel. We were short a few wisemen but our one little wiseman, Beckett, was awesome!

Christmas morning the kids were kind enough to sleep in till 7:30. We got up and came out to see the Christmas tree. Corbin immediately went to make sure that Santa had eaten all the cookies and oreo balls he left for him. Unfortunately, he left Santa so many treats that he couldn't quite finish them all but he really appreciated the kind thoughts from Corbin. We were really spoiled this year. Santa brought Corbin a tool bench and Emma a piano. Corbin also got a Batman cave and a camera. Emma got a huge stuffed dog and her very first baby doll and stroller. Kyle and I both got new electric tooth brushes from Santa and I got new bedding and some new sunglasses. Kyle got a remote control helicopter and a BYU flag. Also, this year I decided to do something a little different for him and thanks some different ideas from pinterest I put together a year of dates. Each month I have planned a different date that we'll do during that month. I'll document each date throughout the year. We went to church around 11, which was a perfect time, I think. We could enjoy the whole morning together and than go to church.

After church and some much needed napping we went down to be with the Parrish side. Our festivities started with a small program where each family performs a little number. Our family this year read a Christmas quote and than Corbin stepped up and sang I hope they call me on a mission, solo. He did such a great job and I was so proud of him. Once everyone performs Dad reads the Christmas story from the Bible. After the program we had dinner and than exchanged gifts. We then went to the Sharp Christmas party and had a great time eating and catching up with family members.

Santa's Cookies

Christmas Eve morning we got up and decorated cookies for Santa. Corbin got a little sprinkle happy on his cookies.

Mom's 50th Birthday!

My Mom turned 50 on the 24th of December. For her birthday we surprised her on temple square and than walked up to dinner at the Lion House where we had reserved a room for a private party. For her birthday we made kind of like a memory quilt with pictures on it.

Best Friends

Corbin has a little friend named Collin. They are the best of friends. Everyday he asks if he gets to play with Collin or go to Collin's house. He always will tell me that he has a good idea and it is always that he should get to play with Collin.
