School Halloween Parade

Halloween morning the kids had their school Halloween parade.  This was the first year that Kyle was able to come with us.  Emma came by and was beyond excited to see us.  Corbin on the other hand walked past and would barely make eye contact with us so I had to try and snap pictures as he walked down the other aisles.  The little stinker.

Donut Party

We were able to go to Kyle's Aunt Vicky's annual donut party.  The kids didn't really want to wear their costumes they had picked out for Halloween so they threw a couple of costumes together.  Corbin went as Stephen Curry, Emma was a ballerina and Bode still wanted to be a Newsies.

Carving Pumpkins

Sunday evening before Halloween, after church, we carved pumpkins.  The kids were told this year that they are going to be very simple carvings cause we didn't have a ton of time.  I loved how each of them turned out.  Tessa didn't carve one this year but she enjoyed licking her pumpkin and trying to play in the guts when we were finishing up.

Flag Football

Another season of flag football is in the books.  These boys played hard this year.  It was a rougher year since they were in the 3rd and 4th grade division and a lot of the teams had a lot of 4th graders on the team where we had all 3rd graders but they played their best and of course it's always the best having some of your best friends on the team!

Preschool Field Trip

Bode had a preschool field trip to Gardner Village to see the witches they have displayed there.  Bode is really enjoying preschool and he loves that he is 1 of 2 boys in his class.  He also loved dressing up in his costume and trunk or treating after the field trip was over.

Sibling Power

Amongst the chaos and mess I spot this sweet moment between all 4 of my kids.  Everyone of is special in their very own way and bring something so different yet so needed to our family dynamic!  I love that they love each other and even though they have their disagreements they have each other's backs.

Tessa Trying to Crawl

Oct. 24th-Tessa is trying to figure out how to get from one point to another and it is making me very sad.  She is not wanting to just stay my little baby.  She wants to keep up with her big brother Bode.  She likes to get up on her hands and knees.  Luckily for me that's about all she does and hasn't quite figured out how to move.

Fall Break-St. George

For fall break this year we escaped off to sunny St. George with the Parrish side.  It was a nice getaway.  We swam, went to the visitor center by the temple, played at the splash pad downtown and rode on the carousel.  We went and visited Glitter Mountain where the kids got to mine off their own sparkle rocks.  That was a pretty big hit with them but of course the kids just loved to swim.
