Mini Vacation-Logan

We decided to take a little mini vacation up to Logan this last weekend. We went up Friday after naps and went to the bookstore and walked around campus. It was fun to walk around and show the kids things that Kyle and I did during our dating years. After that we got dinner at the Bluebird and then went and checked in to our hotel. One of the reasons we went up was because Kyle had his annual Utah State Alumni Lacrosse game Friday night.  I was a little uncertain about the game this year seeing as it was starting at 8 but the kids did awesome.  Corbin found a little friend that he basically followed around all night.  After the game we got a treat for the kids and went back to the hotel for a very long night.  Kyle had forgotten to pack the pack in play so we attempted having the kids sleep in the same bed.  That lasted for all of 5 minutes.  Kyle ended up sleeping with Corbin and I slept with Emma.  It was Emma's first experience with a big bed so it took her awhile to calm down and go to sleep but once she did boy does she move.  By the middle of the night I was at the bottom of the bed laying perpendicular to it and she had the whole top half.  I thought that Kyle had gotten the better end of this deal but he got a couple kicks to the stomach and fists to the face.  I think Corbin got the best nights sleep out of all us.  On Saturday we went to the Utah State Football game where they were playing New Mexico.  Some of my family joined us at the game.  It was a great game and the kids seemed to have a good time.  By the end of the first quarter Emma was having melt down after melt down so I wrapped her up and hopped that she would just close her eyes and go to sleep.  Fortunately I was successful and she slept through the whole second quarter which was extremely impressive since their was a whole lot of screaming going on.  After the game we went to dinner with my family and then headed home.  Despite the non-sleeping night we had we had a great time up in Logan.
