I know that this will be the first of many but, Emma finally has enough hair to get some bed head. It was pretty stinkin cute.

Decorating the Tree
From the second that we got in the car to leave our Thanksgiving festivities, Corbin started begging to put up the Christmas tree. He begged all morning once he woke up and was beyond excited when we started pulling out all of the boxes to decorate for Christmas. He loves to turn the lights on and loves having them on all the time. I've finally convinced him that we don't need them on during the middle of the day. I will admit that as I was working on the Christmas tree I turned and looked at Emma and started to think back to when she was an ity bity baby last year and how much she loved to look at the lights and I started crying. I'm sure it was the lack of sleep that I was functioning on because I had been out all night shopping the after Thanksgiving sales, but it made me a little sad to think how fast this year has gone by and how big she has gotten.

Thanksgiving Day
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving with the Liljenquist family. Our morning started with a family Turkey Bowl. After which we enjoyed a yummy turkey dinner. We love Thanksgiving and what it stands for. I'm so thankful for family and the good relationships I have with them. I'm also thankful for my little family. Corbin and Emma are such a blessing in our lives and I am so grateful that they are part of our family. Last, but definetly not least, I'm thankful for Kyle. He is a great husband and a wonderful Dad. I'm grateful for his job and his willingness to work to support our family and his desire for me to be able to be a stay at home mom. He works so hard to provide for our family and I am so grateful for that passion that he has.
Kangaroo Zoo
My friend Morgan and I took our kids to Kangaroo Zoo this last week. Corbin and Drake became instant friends the first time we did something with them so they both get so excited to play together. This place was awesome. Its just a bunch of blow up toys that the kids can play on. Bouncy houses, big slides, obstacle courses. Emma was a little unsure about it at first but after a little while she was bouncing right along with the other kids. Morgan and my favorite was the big slide they had. When the boys went down it for the first time their eyes went huge cause it was pretty fast. We decided to take our girls down. We had a really good time.

BYU Basketball
On Friday, Kyle was able to take Corbin to a BYU basketball game. His brother Cam and his little boy Evan came too. They had such a great time! When Corbin found out that they were getting to go and it was just going to be him, Daddy, Uncle Cam and Evan he about came apart. Every night he wanted Kyle to call Cam and make sure that they were going to come. When Friday came he had basketball brain. Everything he talked about was BYU and basketball. He loves hanging out with his Daddy and I am so grateful for Kyle. He is such a great Dad and these are memories that I know Corbin will hold onto for a really long time.
These pictures were all taken by Kyle's phone so they might not be the best quality.
The whole week before, every time we talked about going to the basketball game Corbin would keep saying how excited he was to see Cosmo the Cougar and how he was going to get his picture taken with him. Kyle and I both tried to warn him that there was a really good chance that he would not get to have his picture taken with him but he was sure that he would. Well, Corbin was right. By some crazy miracle after the game was over they saw Cosmo and was able to get their picture taken with him. It completely made Corbin's night. He could not stop talking about it all the way home. He loves looking at the picture of it. He now tells us when he gets bigger he wants to be Cosmo.

First Snow
The day after we raked leaves it snowed that night. We weren't completely prepared for the snow storm so we spent the morning getting the kiddies outfitted for playing in the snow along with a sled and that afternoon we went out and enjoyed some sledding. This was Emma's first time sledding and she loved it even when she got sprayed in the face a little bit as we went down the hill. She would just smile and laugh at the end. Corbin remembered falling off the sled last year and face planting it so he was a little hesitant at first but after going down a few times he went down by himself and was so excited that he didn't fall. I'm excited for many more sledding adventures with my little family!
