San Diego-Day 6

Thursday we started out our morning going down to see the U.S.S. Midway, this big aircraft carrier.

We than went over to the Mormon Battalion Visitor Center. It was an amazing Visitor Center. They had a place where the kids could pan for gold, and wash clothes and we also went a tour where we learned about the Mormon Battalion. It was really neat.

After the Mormon Battalion we walked across the street to Old Town and had some good old Mexican food and than after that we walked around and looked at some of the shops.

After our fun day in Old Town we had a little time to kill so we went swimming for a little while.

That evening after dinner we went out La Jolla to see the San Diego temple. Once we got there we found out that the temple was closed and we couldn't even get on the grounds so we just had to take pictures outside of the gate but that's ok.

After the temple we went down to La Jolla beach and watched the sea lions come up. We kept our distance but it was still incredible to see these animals in their natural habitat.

I love, love, LOVE your dad giving Corbin a drink from the water pump at the museum. I didn't even know he had done that. I am going to be laughing about that all day!! :)
