Sub for Santa Part 1-Parrish Family

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we did our first sub for Santa with the Parrish side.  This year John and Brooke took charge and we filled ziplock bags full of food for the kids that go home from school on Friday not knowing what they will eat during the weekend.  It's given to these kids and gets them through the weekend until they can come back to school on Monday and get breakfast.  We were able to make 100 bags.  We found out that all these bags could possibly be used in one weekend for local kids.  It was an extremely humbling experience to put these bags together and the kids really got into it.
