Corbin's Birthday

Corbin's birthday was on a Sunday this year so his party was the following weekend. We spent the day making Corbin's favorite meals, going to church and of course a good group Sunday nap on the blowup air mattress. We did invite the grandparents over for cake and ice cream that evening though.  This year Corbin requested a 3D BYU football helmet for his cake.  I explained to him that I would try my very best but I needed a good back up in case it did not turn out.  I researched and watched a lot of YouTube videos trying to figure out how to do it.  While the boys were gone for the Father and Sons overnighter I went to work and was able to get most of the cake done in an hour.  I was thrilled with how it turned out!
We are so proud of the little man that Corbin is becoming.  He is so sweet and considerate, passionate about sports, especially about BYU and just a good kid all around.  He tries so hard to follow the rules and over the last few weeks we have had very special moments with him.  He is extremely curious and has a lot of questions that are sometimes overwhelming to answer but I sure try my best! We love you Corbin!
