Disneyland Day 1 & 2

On April 12th we left for California for a week long vacation at Disneyland!  When we first started thinking about going we got talking to some friends, the Stromans, and realized that we both wanted to go to Disneyland that year around the same time so we decided to just go together.  Liz was kind enough to let us use her beach house, which is AMAZING!  You walk out the back door and there is the beach and the ocean.  Couldn't be more picturesque.  We decided for our sanity that we would leave around 1 o'clock in the morning to start our drive down.  It went extremely well and the kids slept like champs.  Kyle did manage to knick a deer's behind but there was no damage done to the car fortunately.  We arrived in Capistrano around 11:30 and enjoyed the rest of the day on the beach.  On Sunday we went to the local ward building for Sacrament meeting and then went up to Huntington Beach for Sunday Brunch at Duke's.  It was yummy!  They had the best coconut french toast!   We spent the rest of the day relaxing and soaking up some rays and burying people in the sand.
