With all of the nice weather we have been having the last few days I decided at the last minute to take my kids to the zoo after Corbin got home from school. We were able to meet up with some friends and we ended up having such a great time! The weather was perfect, most of the animals were out and active and we discovered that the new exhibit will be opening up this May so it got my kids even more excited to go again. This was Bode's first time to the zoo. I know that he could careless but I like to thing that he enjoyed it too.

Jr Jazz
We signed Corbin up for Jr Jazz this year with a bunch of boys from the neighborhood. They had a pretty good season and Corbin really enjoyed playing basketball.

Valentines Day
We had a pretty calm Valentines Day this year. In the past I normally do mailboxes for my kids but I came to the realization that this tradition was going to have to change somehow because Corbin will be gone pretty much all day next year and was gone half the day at Kindergarten this year so instead of deliveries throughout the day they just got one big delivery after dinner. During the day we had a little impromptu photo shoot (minus Corbin. I'm not completely sure where or why I didn't get any photos of him) and then we got some naps in. After naps we decorated some sugar cookies and then we did our heart attack for Kyle on the sliding glass door. This year the kids really got into it. A couple of things that they said they love most about Daddy is "I love your shaved head!" (Emma) "I love how hard Dad works." (Corbin) When Kyle got home he walked in with the biggest bouquet of flowers that I have ever seen. I mean this thing is HUGE. We had our normal chicken parmesan dinner with cherry 7up floats and then the kids got their delivery. Bode was more excited about the older 2 kids candy then his book and monkey but who could blame him on that. After we did chocolate fondue.
New Discoveries
With being pretty mobile now Bode has found a few new discoveries that he cannot get enough of. The first is the pantry. Any time he sees that the door is open he crawls as fast as he can over to it and will just hang out in there. His favorite is the broom. He is so interested in how it feels. The second big discovery is the dish washer. He hears it open he to it so fast. He loves to just pull the silverware out that I just put in or he just loves to push the bottom drawer in and out.
