Superhero Party Day

Corbin and his friend Lily Hamblin have Birthdays that are just 2 days apart so we thought that it would be fun to do a big joint Superhero party for the 2 of them.  Lily turned 5 this year and Corbin turned 4.  The kids had such a great time.  We had little photobooth where the kids, who had came to the party dressed in their favorite superhero t-shirts, got a mask and made their best superhero pose.  After which they went out to play in the bounce house we had gotten. A few months ago I came across this incredible deal for an all day bounce house rental and I thought that it could be a lot of fun for a birthday party.  We also had a Spiderman game where the kids got to shoot silly string at a spiderman poster to try and hit the bad guys. We ended the party with a big water balloon fight! The party was so much fun and I am so glad that we have such good friends and that we were able to do a joint party for these 2 wonderful kids.

The poster I had made for our little photo booth for the kids.

The 2 Dads who spent and hour and half blowing up the water balloons!

The cupcakes we made.  We did black, red & blue cupcakes with yellow, red or blue frosting for each superhero.

These were the party favors.  I etched the superhero logos on each glass and then put candy in each of them.
After the friend party we decided because we had the bounce house all day we would invite family up in the afternoon. It was a long day but we had so much fun with both parties. And we defiently got great use out of the bounce house!
After the friend party we decided, since we were going to have the bounce house all day, to invite our family and our friends the Baileys, over for some fun. It was so nice to be able to sit out in the backyard and enjoy the evening while celebrating Corbin's birthday!

Corbin & his birthday friend Nigil Bailey!

I told Corbin he had to pick one superhero to do for his cake and he told me he wanted Batman.

All the cousins that were able to coming showing off their superehero poses.
