We had a great Easter weekend. It started on Saturday morning when the Easter bunny made a visit to our house. We asked the Easter bunny if he could come to our house on Saturday so that we can focus on the real meaning of Easter on Sunday. The kids got swivel cars and other little things in their baskets. Corbin got an egg full of super heros (which is is very big on right now!) and Emma got an egg with a baby doll dressed as a monkey which she has loved. That morning we also went to an Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood. The kids had so much fun. Corbin jumped right in while Emma was a little unsure of what was going on until she discovered what was in the eggs and than she was all about it. After naps we dyed eggs and than had fun playing out on our new swivel cars.
On Sunday morning during breakfast we talked about Jesus Christ and his last days. It was such a great experience to sit together as a family and talk about Christ and all that he did for us. Corbin loved opening each egg and talking about what was in each egg. After church we went to Jodi's for dinner and had a little egg hunt for the kids.

Megan, I always smile when I read your blog posts because I feel like our kids are SO the same! Jack got the exact same Dr. Octopus and Spiderman in his basket, and I have a swivel car hidden in my house until I decide if Jack's getting it for his birthday. :) How does Corbin like it??? I can't decide if I will keep it or not.
Your kids are darling. I like to keep up with you on your blog! Jack and Corbin should get together one day and play superheroes... :)
You all look adorable by the way! Love emma's dress and yours also! where did you end up finding them?
