Our Little Lady

On Saturday we celebrated Emma's 1st Birthday. We threw her a Little Lady bug party.

Instead of party favors we had this little candy bar for all of our guests to fill up their own goody bags.

Once all of our family arrived we had some food following which it was time for the presents. Emma definitely got spoiled by all of her family. She finally has some girlie toys now. She has been playing with cars and trucks and tools over the last little while and I am just so excited to have some girl toys for her! Not that there is anything wrong with the cars and such.

After presents it was cake time. I made a cake just for Emma and everyone else cupcakes. Emma was pretty excited while everyone sang to her. She looked around and clapped her hands. I gave her the cake and she stuck her finger in it and tasted it. She gave us a big smile and went away at the cake. She probably ate more frosting than cake but she enjoyed it!

Corbin was so excited that Emma got a little rocking horse that looks just like his. Now they can be cowboys together!

I can't believe that Emma will be turning 1 next week!
