State Fair

Last week we went to the State Fair with our friends from our neighborhood.  Fun was had by all of course and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.  It had been raining pretty much all day until we got there and then it cleared up and the sun was shining.  It wasn't crowded at all.  We had a fun evening with some really great friends!

Grandparents Day

On Friday Corbin's school had Grandparents day. Corbin was so excited that all of grandparents were able to come.  He loves all of them so much!  He was excited to sing the song for them that they had been practicing in class.  My Mom was nice enough to take pictures and share them with me.

1st Day of Preschool

Emma had her first day of preschool last week.  She is going to our neighbor 2 doors down, Miss Lockwood's preschool.  She had been asking and begging forever so when it was her turn to go she was so excited.  She was up and dressed and got all of her morning chores done.  When we got there she walked inside and didn't even look back.  She was more than ready to go.

Summer Bucket List-Donut Falls

On Labor day we went for a hike up to Donut Falls.  My parents joined us.  We had a wonderful morning and the kids did awesome.  Once we got to the falls Corbin wanted to climb up the rocks to see the top of the falls.   Emma decided she wanted to do it with us.  I was so proud of both of them.  It was not an easy climb but they both did so well!  After our hike we grabbed some lunch.

Ogden Temple Open House

Last weekend we got the chance to go to the Ogden Temple Open House with the Parrish family.  It was so beautiful inside.  Corbin was really into seeing all of the rooms and would ask what we do in each of the rooms.  He told me that he was most excited for the cookies at the end because that's what they did at the Brigham City Temple but they didn't do that here.  He was disappointed for only a second but I thought it was pretty funny that that was what he remembered from the last open house he went to.  I am so grateful for temples and the blessings that we have because of them.  I'm so glad that Kyle and I get to be together forever with our sweet little family!
