Pioneer Day

We had a nice Pioneer day.  Kyle had to work so the kids and I got up and made cinnamon rolls and watched the Days of 47 parade.  When Kyle got home we went to see the movie Turbo and then grabbed a quick bite to eat at Chick-fil-a.  Then we came home and let the kids do some sparklers and then spent the rest of the evening playing in our backyard and on the tramp.

Blackridge Reservoir

On Monday for Family night we went up to the Reservoir with some neighborhood friends. The kids loved being up there playing in the sand and in the water. 

Smiles

Over the past couple weeks Bode has started giving us glimpses of smiles and has given me a couple of good smiles but on Sunday morning while the other kids were sleeping Bode gave Kyle the most smiles I have ever seen come out of him. He was just loving whatever Kyle was doing. It totally melted my heart to see these 2 together and watching Bode just smile at his Daddy!

North Shore

Our friend, Nigil, works at the North Shore Aquatic Center so we decided to take the kids there on Saturday. They had a blast. Corbin loved the really big slide and Emma loved going down the little kiddie frog slide. I sat with Bode in the shade the majority of the time and took pictures from where I was sitting.
