Daddy's Home

Daddy coming home from work is something that we all look forward to daily. The second he pulls up the kids are looking out the window watching him or if they haven't seen his car pull up when he comes into the view at the window Emma will immediately starting shouting, "DA DA DA DA" and will run over to him to meet him at the door. It's really sweet to watch them get so excited to see him and I know that he loves it!



*Side note: I know that Corbin is still in his pjs but he had a pajama party at preschool that day and he refused to change out of them after he got home.

Stuck

We aren't completely sure how this happened but I heard a funny noise coming out of Emma's room and when I went into see what it was I discovered this:

A Sunday Evening

A couple of Sundays back Kyle was watching the 49ers in the NFC (AFC?) championship game and Sunday night is our popcorn and movie night so the kids and I decided to go cuddle up in my bed and watch our movie.

More Sledding

After one of the big snow storms we had we went sledding with a bunch of friends. I love that we have such a great sledding hill just a block away from our house and I also love that we have such great friends that we can go and spend a beautiful Saturday morning sledding and building a really big snowman.

Ski Vacation 2012

A couple of weekends ago was our annual Liljenquist Family Ski Vacation. It was filled with good food, skiing and great family time! We had our family ski race, which I actually raced in for the first time and got 28 seconds as my best time. I was just happy to be able to do it and get down the hill in one peace. Kyle got 20.9 seconds. Unfortunately this year coming around gate 2 or 3 while racing, Cameron, Kyle's brother, caught the gate and ended up hurting himself.
We so enjoy being able to do this vacation and we love spending time with family!

Utah State Basketball

Kind of spur of the moment we decided to go to the Utah State vs Nevada basketball game a couple saturdays back. We ended up having a really great time. Corbin was even lucky enough to get his picture taken with Blue the Cow. Emma spent a lot of the game playing with the straw and the drink putting the straw back in and out of the cup. It was pretty entertaining. Unfortunately Utah State lost but it was a fun family outing! It brought back a lot of memories from when Kyle and I were dating and would go to basketball games together. We love Utah State!

January?

This last week the weather has been SO nice! We've been able to go to the park, go on a walk, and play out in our backyard. It's hard to believe that it is January.




*The day after I took these pictures however it snowed. BUT we still went outside and did some serious sledding with a bunch of friends!

Bath Buddies

I love bath time around here. Corbin and Emma just have the best time together. They love to just hang out in their towels after we're all done.

Christmas Sunday Dress

We took pictures on Christmas of our kids in their Christmas outfits. It was right before church and the kids were border line tired.




By the end of it they had had enough and this was the best shot I got of the 2 of them together.
