This last week was South Ogden Days so we decided to go to the carnival. Corbin absolutely LOVES rollercoaster rides. I was hoping there would be more rides but there weren't a whole lot of them but Corbin still had lots of fun on the ones they had. We also let the kids stay up and watch the fireworks. I love fireworks and it was so fun to enjoy them with my kids!
Going down the big slide with Dad.
After going down with Dad, Corbin informs us that he HAS to go down all by himself.
Kyle took Corbin on a ride called Tornado. It went up off the ground and they could spin it around.
Proof that Emma was there even though she couldn't go on any of the rides.
Corbin and I went on a ride that's a lot like the Space Scrambler at Lagoon. It spins really fast and the faster it spun Corbin would laugh harder!
You can't see Corbin in the picture but he is there!

5 Year Anniversary
Our 5 year Anniversary was on June 9th but we were up at Bear Lake so we haven't really had a chance to celebrate it until this last weekend. This year I was in charge. We had always talked about going sky diving for our 5 year but the money we were going to use to do it we decided to use during our family vacation to San Diego so instead I was able to get a great deal on the IFly that's up here in Ogden. It's as close to sky diving you can get without really doing the real thing. It was a lot of fun! I was really nervous at first but once you are in the wind tunnel its a lot of fun.
Afterwards we drove up Ogden Canyon to Wolf Mountain Ski resort to a restaurant called Harley & Bucks. It was a great find and the food was really good. We got to eat out on the patio which was so nice. The weather was perfect!
Up Ogden Canyon there is a waterfall. We stopped by on the way back to look at it and take some pictures. I love waterfalls! I think they are one of the coolest things!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KYLE! I LOVE YOU!

Bear Lake '11-Week 1
Our first week at Bear Lake was last week. It was a little different just because we haven't ever been up there that early in the summer so the weather wasn't something we have had in the past. There is still snow up on the tops of the mountain, the weather didn't ever get up above 70 most of the days and the water temperature was a good 49 degrees. But none the less we had a great time. We were able to go out on the boat all of the days but 1. The end of the week was quite exciting though. On Friday morning after I had woke up I started having a pain in my right side. Front and back. I at first thought that I was just having some indigestion so I told Kyle that I was going to go lay down again. 5 minutes later I was in so much pain I couldn't hold still so after I called Kyle in and than he called his sisters in, we decided that maybe it was the best for me to go to the hospital. Kyle's Dad came in and they gave me a blessing and put me in the car and started through Logan Canyon. It was the longest ride of my life but Craig made great time and they got me to the hospital in half an hour. After a CT scan they discovered that I have kidney stones. I was passing one, that's why I was in so much pain, but I have 3 more in my right kidney and 1 or 2 more in my left kidney. So now I have to go and meet with an urologist. Super fun! Luckily when I got back to the cabin the stones passed later that day so I could enjoy the rest of my trip. We sure do love our weeks up at Bear Lake and love spending time with the family!
Corbin & Evan
The kids spent A LOT of time outside on the tramp.
Roasting some hot dogs over the fire.
The water is up high enough now that they could put out our ramp. The kids loved walking out on it.
Sleeping on the boat. The best kind of naps!
Emma's first boat ride. Don't you just love what that life jacket does for her checks!
Emma getting her bath in the kitchen sink!
Hanging out in the tube with Evan, Nate & Beckett
Riding in the row boat.
Kyle & Corbin tubing with Cameron & Evan
Corbin tried skimming for the first time and LOVED it! He did it 3 or 4 times. It's just getting him more and more comfortable behind the boat.
