We are starting to go real stir crazy in our house so I decided that we needed to take a field trip to get us out of the house. I decided to take the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium. My sister in law Megan and her little boy Beckett met us there. On the way there Corbin told Emma that the big sharks were going to bite her fingers so she cried almost all the way there. Once I finally got her calmed down I explained to her that Corbin was wrong and that nothing was going to bite her fingers. She was a little timid at first and sat in the stroller but once she saw Corbin and Beckett going from exhibit to exhibit she decided it was ok and followed suit. At every exhibit though she would put her finger on the glass and exclaim that it bit her and then would laugh.

Scheels
This last weekend we ventured out to the new store, Scheels. It is such a cool store. We didn't get to see all of it, mostly because we went to Costco before, which was a huge mistake because it was crazy crowded and took us longer to get through than what I thought it would so by the time we got to Scheels it was close to lunch so we were all starving. But we did take the time to ride the ferris wheel they have inside their store. We'll have to go back and walk around the rest of the store.
Kangaroo Zoo
Last week we headed up to Ogden to go to Kangaroo Zoo with a few of our friends. Emma was very unsure of all of it and cried for the first half hour we were there. I was starting to regret driving all this way for her to just sit and cry. Finally I just stuck her in one of the bounce places and sat there with her till she finally realized what they were and than she was fine the rest of the time. Corbin had a blast running around with his 2 buddies, Lily and Collin.

"Mom! I'm bored!"
Corbin came up to me the other day and told me that. I gave him lots of options to go and do and he told me he didn't want to do any of them. While on the phone with Kyle I was telling him how Corbin kept telling me he was bored and Kyle told me to tell him that Daddy would pay him to go clean off the drive way. He was ecstatic. I asked him if he wanted help and he told me, "No. Dad won't give me the whole dollar if you help me." I felt kind of bad that he was doing it all by himself but he seemed just fine with it and he actually did really well. I was super impressed. I kept thinking, "That'll teach him to tell me he's bored", but I think that he really enjoyed doing it so maybe not.
