Parrish Adult Weekend-Park City

This last weekend we had our adult only weekend with the Parrish clan up in Park City. We met up on Friday evening.  We went to dinner and then went and saw the new Batman movie, which was pretty cool.  After the movie we went back to the rooms and played Headbandz Disney.  On Saturday we went to Park City Mountain resort where we rode the zipline, alpine coaster and the alpine slide.  The lines were rediculiously long so we only did the 2 of them and then went back later to do the last one.  We also went to lunch at one of my favorite places, Baja Cantina.  After we went back to the hotel and some of us went swimming and some of went out to the outlet malls to do a little bit of shopping.  Saturday night was spent playing games and watching the olympics.

Kitchen Project

Finally after over a year our kitchen project is finished and I LOVE IT! It makes me a little sad that it took this long to do it and I might not get to enjoy it for it very long.

Lagoon

Since the beginning of summer Corbin has been begging to go to Lagoon. Since our Stake Lagoon day was on Monday I was able to take Corbin to, "The best planet on this whole world" as he calls it. My aunt was so kind to take Emma for most of the day since she isn't quite tall enough to ride on all the rides so Corbin and I could go and ride rides.  My sister in law, Heidi joined us with her youngest Jillian since the rest of her family was gone.  We all had such a great time.  Corbin rode his most favorite ride, Bombora, first and it was his last ride before we left the park. He even braved the Terror Ride which surprised me but the second we went through the doors his head was buried in me and he didn't see a thing but I was super proud of him to even just go on the ride. Kyle joined us after work along with Emma, my parents, and my aunt and uncle. The only ride Emma could ride on was the carousel so she rode it a few times that evening.  She was alittle shy about it at first but after awhile she was begging and running to the ride.



Jason & Alissa

On Friday, August 3rd, my youngest brother Jason got married to Alissa in the Oquirrah Mountain Temple.  It was a beautiful day and we are so excited to have Alissa be apart of our family. 

Watching Kids

We were able to go up to Heber for a couple of days and watch 2 of Heidi and Jerry's kids while they took London and went down to St. George.  My kids had such a blast with them.  Corbin just thinks that Coleman is the coolest person and loved playing with him.  There was quite a bit of noodle battles on the tramp and Corbin even perfected his flip on the tramp which Coleman taught him how to do.
